It’s been a busy couple of months for us at Green Cloak! Between directing, performing, coordinating, designing, and polishing, there’s been very few quiet days around here. Here’s some of what we’ve been working on:
“Imaginary!” – an original play by Philadelphia area Playwright, Bill D’Agostino, Adam directed the cast of 11 actors and did the sound design for this production at Montgomery Theater in Souderton. Performances run from October 18th until October 27th.
“Poe’s Unhappy Hour” – Adam portrays Edgar Allan Poe in this live and interactive show at the Yocum Institute for Arts Education in Reading, PA. After two days of school shows, only one public performance will be held on October 25th.
“The Last Kin” – a feature film by Matt Duffin and Mpire Motion Pictures – GCC has provided all of the post-production on this feature, from the first rough cut edit to the final sound and visual fx pass, as well as basic color correction.
“Alpha Rift” – feature film by Dan Lantz and Falling Cat Productions – GCC is currently working on dialogue cleanup and sound effects for this incredible film which is coming in 2020!
“Alpha Rift: the Game” – work also continues on the design and refinement on the movie tie-in game, with playtesting ongoing and feedback helping to improve gameplay and balance.
Visual Expressions – Adam stepped in as substitute puppet performer for “Site and Sound: Revealing the Rail Park” after VEC’s Hua Hua Zhang suffered an injury during rehearsal. Adam led event participants in a group “Dragon Dance” using one of Hua Hua’s original creations in the unique space and in conjunction with other dancers and musicians in attendance. Adam also continues to be Hua Hua’s Production Manager, coordinating the installation and display of her original exhibit “Mythical Chinese Dragon” at the Asian Arts Initiative in Philadelphia for the month of September as part of the Philadelphia Fringe Festival.
